The CMRC has a staff of 26, 21 of them being research associates, four specialists with higher education and one program operator.

          At the Centre work four full professor, eight full associates professors and nine instant professors. Four possess the scientific degree of Doctor of Sciences and eleven that of PhD.

  • Participation in the Training of Highly Qualified Specialists
So far at the CMRC have been trained four persons working on regular doctorates, two working on doctorates as extra-mural  students, one working on a doctorate on his own and one postgraduate.Scholars of the Centre deliver lectures on Old Bulgarian literature, textology, Cyrillic palaeography, Latin palaeography, medieval aesthetics, Byzantine culture and literature and Byzantine history, and conduct seminars in Old Bulgarian language, historical grammar of the Bulgarian language, Old Greek and Latin at the “St. Clement of Ohrid” Sofia University, the “Paisii Khilendarski” Plovdiv University, the “SS. Cyril and Methodius” Veliko Turnovo University, the “N. Pavlovich” Academy of Fine Arts and the New Bulgarian University. They train young specialists in different fields of Cyrillo-Methodian and medieval studies in general: source study, linguistics, literature, textology, art study, palaeography and codicology, history and philosophy.
